Mobi: Voluntary Recall of Zippee Activity Toy Due to Potential Choking Hazard

Mobi takes your safety and the safety of your families seriously.
In an abundance of caution, Mobi is voluntarily recalling these activity toys in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada.

What is the Hazard?
The toy has a spherical shape on the ends of certain strings in Zippee. We have learned that the spherical shape can potentially present a choking hazard for children. Mobi is acting out of an abundance of caution to make sure that our toys are as safe as possible.

IMPORTANT: ONLY Model 1 Zippee has been recalled, not Model 2. Refunds will be given to those with Model 1 Zippee only. Please see the differences below.

What should I do if I have a Zippee Model 1?

  • You should immediately take the recalled activity toy away from children.
(You will need a camera and scissors to complete your registration. You may wish to register using your phone to upload the required photos.)
  • You should then cut off the spherical shape on the ends of the silicone strings and take a photo of the cut-up parts. You will need this photo to register. You should then take a permanent marker and write the date and your initial on the teal-colored cylinder of the toy. Take a second photo of the cylinder.
  • Using this form, upload both photos along with your detailed information to register for a full refund.
  • We strongly encourage you to follow the directions in this recall.
